On Tuesday 10/11, Bainbridge hosted Lakeside, who beat both our V and JV squads. JV fell 5-13, while V lost 6-11. With this win, Lakeside V claims the #1 seed from our division, setting up our V team for a face-off against Mercer for the #2 seed and a bid to the WA state championship
The Bainfield Purple Rams suffered their second loss on Sunday 10/9 in a morning matchup against Soufend… alas. With one game left in the regular season, the team is hoping to qualify for the postseason.
Both of our Bx teams managed to defeat Mercer yet again at an away-field matchup on the morning of Saturday 10/8. JV won (13-5), to elevate their record to 4-1. Alongside, the Bx V squad battled for a universe-point win (12-11), bringing their record to 5-1.

Under sunny skies, our Bainfield Purple Rams (the Gx Free Agent team) had a doubleheader at Genesee playfields on Sun Oct 2nd. They won their first matchup against the Ballard Gx varsity team (8-6), but then suffered their first loss to Lincoln Gx varsity (4-7). This brings our overall record to 3-1.
BIU sent a Bx team to participate in DiscNW’s JV Jamboree tournament this past weekend in Burlington, WA. The team came away with a decisive win against Nathan Hale JV (11-6); a win-on-universe-point against Northwest JV (9-8); and a loss against Roosevelt JV (9-11). It was a beautiful day, and loads of fun!
The Bx varsity team won yet again, in a home game on Weds Sept 28th, with a dominant performance against eBUC (Eastside/Bellevue ultimate club), shutting them out 13-0. With this win, the team’s W-L record stands at 4-1.
In a rematch from the hotly contested initial matchup between the BIU Bx-V and Mercer Bx-V teams (last weekend’s home opener), Bainbridge traveled to Mercer and came away with a more decisive victory. This time the BIU squad was never behind, and went on to win 13-8. Congrats!
