Our Spring Gx HS season (for female-matching players, or FMPs) will begin after midwinter break. Registration is now open for any interested FMPs in grades 9-12.

Hyla will once again be bringing a team to the Spring Reign youth tournament up in Burlington, WA the weekend of April 27th-28th, and corresponding practices will begin the last week of February (following midwinter break). This opportunity is open for ALL 5th-8th graders at ALL schools.
Practices will be held Mon/Weds/Fri from 3:30-5:00 at Hyla’s middle school campus, organized by Hyla teachers David Maron and Cooper Rooks. Please reach out to David if you are interested in playing, and see our Spring Reign page for more info and registration details!

Please share info about our organization’s activities with any students you think may be interested! Our HS teams are open for anyone in grades 9-12 at BHS, EHHS, those who do Running Start or are homeschooled, Hyla HS, West Sound Academy, or any other Kitsap/west sound high schools that do not have a team of their own. The Hyla MS team is open for anyone in grades 5-8 on or near Bainbridge Island.

Our Winter Mixed (all genders) HS season has finished its regular league play. Postseason games concluded on Feb 17th, with V ending up in 11th place in their division, and JV came in 4th. At the end of the regular season, the BIU Winter Mixed JV team sat in 8th place (of 16 teams), and so just squeaked out a spot in the upper playoff bracket. What it meant, however, was that we faced #1 seed Roosevelt JV, who had not lost a game all season. But not to
BIU’s Winter Mixed Varsity and JV teams have each had two games thus far, on Sat Dec 2nd and 9th. At the season openers on Dec 2nd under the lights at Franklin HS, our V squad beat Lincoln’s V2 team 9-7, and JV fell to Seattle Academy 4-11. The next weekend, both teams played at
